Jumpstart Digital Workshops – Privacy Policy

Thank you for deciding to purchase a license to use the Jumpstart Digital Workshop content materials.  Your privacy is important to us. By ‘click accepting’ online, you are agreeing to the following privacy policy terms (“terms”): 

  1. Parties: These privacy policy terms are between you, the subscriber person or entity stated in your online Account set-up section with us (“you”, “your”) and New Zealand Food Innovation Network Limited, being New Zealand company with number 2448723 (“we”, “our”, “us”).  These terms also bind the respective administrators, executors, successors and permitted assigns of each party.
  2. Personal Information we may collect:  As part of the Jumpstart services we supply to you, we may collect the following items of personal information from you: name; email address; phone number; street address or other location, the IP address for your device, and possibly other information as explained in our main privacy policy terms located at www.nzfin.co.nz (our Website).  You confirm that, to the extent we receive any personal information regarding any person within your organisation, then all such persons have read and accepted these privacy policy terms.
  3. How we process and use your personal information:
    1. We will process and store your personal information solely for our business purposes, and specifically in relation to your use of any Jumpstart content we may licence to you, or any associated services supplied by us in that regard.  That may involve us sharing your personal information with one or more third parties we use to assist us with supplying our services to you.
    2. We may also use your personal information to promote our wider business services to you at any time, whether by digital, electronic, or any other means.
    3. We may also transfer your personal information to any purchaser of our business assets for their continued use with those assets.
    4. We may also use your personal information within the scope, context and terms our wider privacy policy located on our Website which you confirm you have read and accept.
    5. We may also transfer your personal information outside New Zealand but only as part of our use of any globally reputable hosted services supplier for the purposes of assisting us to conduct our business, and subject to their terms (which you accept we are powerless to amend).
    6. We will only store your personal information for as long as reasonably required for the above purposes.
  4. Third party links: The content or services we supply to you may contain links to third party websites. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those websites have not been developed by and are not controlled by us. They are provided for your convenience only, and do not imply that we check, endorse, approve or agree with the privacy practices of the third-party websites linked to. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that you visit.
  5. Your rights in relation to your personal information:
    1. Your rights are contained within the Privacy Act 2020 and any applicable regulations and codes within New Zealand.  If you believe on reasonable grounds that other (non-New Zealand) laws apply to your personal information as stored or processed by us then please explain that to us in writing and we will consider your comments in good faith and respond reasonably.  
    2. If you wish to access, erase or amend your personal information as stored by us then please contact us at [email protected].   Please note that doing so might cause some form of deficiency in the services we supply to you to the extent applicable.
  6. Security of your information: The security of your information will be initially and primarily controlled by our platform provider, including Thinkific.   To the extent we obtain your personal information, we undertake to use such security and access control requirements as are required by New Zealand law.
  7. General:   These privacy policy terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.  The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
